The 26-year-old forward played a crucial role in Newport's successful fight to avoid relegation, scoring three vital goals in the final two games of last season. Despite his contributions, Kamwa has decided to explore opportunities elsewhere after turning down an improved contract offer from the Exiles. Newport County stated that Kamwa's performances included several decisive moments, with his goals making a significant impact at critical times during the season. Having joined Newport in 2024 after being released by Burton Albion, Kamwa scored a total of 14 goals in 95 appearances for the club.
