Newport County Welcomes Permanent Signing of Harrison Biggins
Newport County have announced the signing of midfielder Harrison Biggins on a permanent deal. The move comes after the player impressed during his loan period with the Exiles, making 21 appearances and scoring three goals in the latter half of the 2025-26 season.
Biggins, who has previously played for Fleetwood Town, Doncaster Rovers, and Shrewsbury Town, was released by his parent club, Shrewsbury Town, following the end of the previous campaign. His return to Newport County will see him rejoin Christian Fuchs' side as the team looks to build on their 20th place finish in League Two last season.
Manager's Expectations for Biggins at Newport County
Manager Christian Fuchs is excited about the addition of Biggins, stating that his experience and goal-scoring ability will be valuable assets. 'Harrison has shown us what he can do during his loan period,' said Fuchs. 'His presence in our midfield will provide a significant boost to our attacking options and defensive stability.'
The signing comes as Newport County aims for a stronger performance this season, with Biggins set to play an integral role in achieving their goals.
